Sometimes talking doesn't do much. I have been talking to my son about investing for the last three years, he has a six digit annual salary and no expenses to speak off as he lives in the house I have fully paid off and all the bills are covered as well. Yet he is not investing and in a recent discussion it came up that since he is planning to start the family he needs to at least save up some money we counted all of his income and known expenses and he couldn't account as to where 40K of his income goes annually...
