Crypto Book Recommendations Vol 1

Over the last year, I've spent a lot of time reading about cryptocurrencies and blockchain. Not every book is a winner, but here are a few that I wholeheartedly recommend and you'll see more about in future posts.

• Internet of Money Vol 1 & Vol 2 by Andreas M. Antonopoulos: A compilation of his talks, transcribed, and edited so you can read this in spare moments without setting aside an entire evening. There is no better teacher about why all this matters.
• The Age of Cryptocurrency: How Bitcoin and the Blockchain Are Challenging the Global Economic Order by Paul Vigna & Michael Casey: An outstanding book that covers the scale of what cryptocurrencies and blockchain can do to improve the world. This is a clear-eyed appraisal that examines all sides (not just hyping the tech). Extremely well-written, making it easy to read and always felt like it was moving forward. Updates to the book bring the information more current.
• The Business Blockchain: Promise, Practice, and Application of the Next Internet Technology by William Mougayar: This book hits a more academic tone, but is still relatively easy to read. I got a fundamental understanding of how the blockchain will change business models across industries and offer a new generation of services.
