EnBW inaugurated He Dreiht on 17 September 2026. With 64 turbines and 960 MW of capacity, it is Germany's largest offshore wind farm. Around €2.4 billion has been invested, and the project was built without state funding.

Long-term power purchase agreements underpin the financing. The first turbines are already feeding electricity to the grid; commissioning continues in stages.
