This evening I sit having drinks where I live and think of the different prespective a few days has given us.
Before , while in quarantine, we would look out and long to be free, to be outside. To be able to at any time go anywhere and enjoy all that is around us. But there were barriers. Not all were permitted to go out. We needed to have to show proof that we had a reason to even be at the grocery store. A pass. Why? Why are you going here? Are you allowed? We looked out. We wanted our basic freedoms back.
We longed to be out, wanted our normality back.
The barriers are lifting. Slowly we are being given pieces of our liberty back but I question if many will do more with the freedoms that are being restored.
Remember what we did not have and use the time and freedom you have. It's a lesson we have had. Remember it and learn. Learn to live. Remember to be compassionate and remember it can be taken oh so quickly. But remember and when the dust settles and the information starts to really come in, the real facts. Pay attention and question things. It will be important moving forward.
