It鈥檚 a weird feeling being so high in the sky and yet in a boat. Traveling across a narrow aqueduct of 40 meters high does get the adrenaline flowing and adrenaline and narrowboats is an odd mix.
I鈥檓 not a big fan of heights and the first two times I crossed over on the boat I dare not look around at my surroundings and had my eyes firmly fixed on the destination ahead.
But this time I had my friend @diveratt drive the boat (and stand on the deep side) while I did a spot of filming and taking photos.
It was a much more relaxing experience than the previous two knee knocking crossings.
I didn鈥檛 notice this river below on the previous crossings as I was far to scared to look around and especially down.
It was a shame that the day @diveratt came up for the crossing it was misty and rainy. Full on drizzle all day. But it鈥檚 still a cool experience to cross over the aqueduct by boat.
I think if tomorrow morning the weather has improved we may give it another go and squeeze in another crossing before @diveratt has to catch his train home.
Gotta be done!
