Good Morning to all you Hivers!
The Quarantine continues and I wake this morning in need of an injection of positivity. Where's my coffee? Ahhh better. 15 weeks into this now and as much as it feels never ending I can at least look back at what I have managed to achieve.
I now have a grasp of Japanese and can read the Hiragana alphabet and I am improving with the Katakana alphabet also. Some Kanji I can also recognise. My Japanese vocabulary is increasing. Looking forward to going back to Japan to practice, and to eat of course. mmm the food is so good there. I have been to Japan twice now and would love to go back better equipped with some language as it would open up more of the country and the experience. I posted a clip today of my 1st trip there as I long to go back
5 Days in Tokyo-Part 1-Superb Japan
I was getting back into shape and returning to fitness but since general quarantine started after Enhanced I have lapsed into the old ways. This must be rectified so from today I get back on the exercise trail. The punchbag beckons....it calls me....it wants punishment... it shall receive. I have one at home and one at the dive shop so I really don't have an excuse really. I can make one up at the drop of a hat but the reality of it is I just got plain lazy. Shame really as I was starting to see real benefit from it at the end of Enhanced Community Quarantine.
We are still awaiting the Executive order to be released detailing the can and can nots of this new Modified Quarantine. It's taking too long really. 9 days into the change and no word. No wonder people get confused about what to do. Mixed messages seems to be the order of the day. People really need clarity in these times. Clarity reduces stress and confusion and helps people focus correctly on whatever it is thay are able to do at that time. KNowing the boundaries and working within the scope you are able to. Is this really so hard for the powers that be everywhere to understand. I guess it is, chaos reigns.
Ok this really is a coffee morning ramble today. I best get ready for my day.
Take care out there people wherever you may be on this planet of ours.
