Hail to the Hive!
We find ourselves back at a nice spot that we were at a few weeks back. In fact This bridge has already featured in 2 other posts, one with views from on top of it and one of it further away) but not as the centre piece and this little bridge has character.
I spent most of the afternoon on top of it filming and photographing boats passing underneath as i wanted to do a post on the boat traffic. i will post that one later.
As i left i took another look at the old crumbling grass covered brick bridge and thought to myself what a wonderful character it had. A personality of its own.
Chambers Bridge
It has a name I found out also apart from it's number , bridge 100. I have not yet found our why it is named so.
It's underside also full of character and crumbling away, well the cladding is coming off. I wonder what it used to look like back in its glory days.
