Hail to the Hive!
We have had our boat out of the water for some routine work such as the re blacking of the hull and some engine repairs this weekend and to do it we had to have her out of the water.
This gave me a little time to wander about taking a few tandom photos of the boatyard. I love these places and have posted stuff from others in the past.
I love the atmosphere of the boats, in various states of repair or neglect, laying about. It sends my mind off in directions thinking of the what ifs and the possibilities of what these boats could become.
There' also the tools and machinery all about the place that are almost, in some cases, like sculptures or works of industrial art.
This little old tug style work boat intrigued me. Both myself and @millycf1976 both liked it and could see how it could be a really cool boat if restored.
We like the style of these tug type narrowboats with there elongated bows. We will have an eye out for one in the future.
I can see a fully fledged herb garden in my minds eye on the bow of this one.
But now I must return to our own little Badger and continue the work we have started.
