DISCUSSION TOPIC:
I Will Never Forget You

BIBLE READING:
Isaiah 49: 14-26

Qs. 4,7. See Questions HERE.

DISCUSSION:

A friend once remarked that greater tribulation can no man have than to be a missionary to the Israelites! There was no single successful missionary sent to them right from Moses to date. Just as it was difficult to convince them of His love for them. See v. 14. In spite of the wonderful promises given in yesterday's reading, Israel still feels God has forsaken her. Read vs. 15-18 again and see God's plan to restore all that the enemy ever carried away. Can God also restore your lost fortune? Believe Him and follow His principles of full restoration, and you will have a testimony.

In your recent journey of faith, how difficult has it been for you to take God at His word? In vs. 19-26, we see God comparing the past experiences with what He would do in the immediate future. He took time to remind them of their ruin, desolation, waste, bereavement, barrenness, exile, loneliness and rejection (vs. 19-21) and assures them of the wonderful things He would now do (vs. 22-26). Claim these promises personally for you and others.

So what:

Make the promise of God in v. 25b yours.

Prayer:

Dear Father, I thank You for your special plans and promises for my life. I believe and claim them all.
