I have several relatives who enjoy target shooting. It can be a competitive sport,or just a hobby. It's a challenge to try to hit that bulls-eye on the target. I have only done a little shooting over the years. I do wear ear protection, so the noise isn't so startling. (Sorry you forgot yours at first.) It's not an activity I would choose as a regular hobby, but I did find it interesting and sort of fun. Like any skill, it takes practice to be really good at it. I would like to be better acquainted with at least one handgun, to the point of feeling comfortable with defending myself with it if the need arose. I'm not there yet.
