Uffda. Forced rest is not fun, especially when pain is involved. I am glad you felt up to producing a tasty pie, and that you got to admire the peonies. Mine bloomed a couple of weeks ago, but my sister's (over in the Mission Valley) just got in gear last week. Just in time to get beat up by heavy rain, as usual.
