Oh Christmas trees, oh Christmas trees, how many of you are there? I counted 12 on display at the Mezzanine of The Historic Davenport Hotel, and I believe there were six more at River Park Square. This was the 36th annual Christmas Tree Elegance fundraiser event for the Spokane Symphony Association. Businesses and individuals donate cash, gift certificates, and other prize items that are put together in themed groupings. Each collection of prizes comes with an appropriately-decorated Christmas tree as well. Raffle tickets are sold for $1 each, and are dropped via a slot into large clear plastic containers, one of which is located next to each tree and grouping of prizes.
This is the view across the mezzanine. It was very crowded there at the Davenport Hotel, so most of my pictures were taken at the less-crowded River Park Square location, just two blocks away.
This Christmas tree is part of the general decor at River Park Square. It is quite impressive!
