Jog Fallsis the second highest plunge waterfalls in India. It is located in Shivamoga district(Karnataka) and, It is created by the Sharavathi river. It is formed by 4 waterfalls Raja, Rocket, Roarer and Rani named from left to right. It is very beautiful to watch when it gains it's glory. The best time to visit this falls is the rainy season that is July to October.
I have also read that in winter it looks magical, as thick fog cover the top of the falls and the water plunges down as though falling from the clouds.
