Another beautiful morning in Truckee, California! Join me on a little photo "adventure" to Donner Lake in this video.
Quill dog insisted on going outside very early this morning, so I decided to stay awake and try to catch a sunrise. There wasn't much time, a nearby and easy location was going to have to do. It's hard to go wrong at Donner Lake so I tossed the camera gear in my ride and headed down the icy road (without Quill, sorry dog...). We had a few inches of fresh snow at my house, and fortunately Donner Lake had a nice fresh coat as well.
The color ended up being nicer than what was forecasted and I ended up with a new "keeper" photo for my website. This will soon be available as large fine art prints, printed by me personally.
