This morning, I arrived at my haircut appointment at Main Attractions on Downtown Truckee a bit early, so I decided to go for a quick walk. I was just strolling along when something caught my eye. "Oh Yeah!!!" I had forgot that I had licensed this image and here is was on the Truckee Visitors Guide. It was a pleasant surprise, of course I grabbed a few issues and a few photos.
The cover image is a cropped section of the photo below. It was shot a few years ago at Sagehen Meadows, one of my favorite spots for photography in the Spring. However, this year the meadow was a bust. Hardly any wildflowers out there and the meadow was very dry due to the minimal amount of snow we got this last winter. My fingers are crossed for a really big snow year this upcoming winter, we need it.
