There is this interesting concept floating around that you need someone else who has done something one way to tell you how do to do it using their way which may have only worked for them. The real concern is people spending so much time seeking out help and or mentorship instead of trying to help themselves. They want to spend time looking for quick success but not working for it. The joke of it all is that you could just have spent all that time to earn success and you never try to. This is my take on this mentality.
