Wiener HIVE Stammtisch Dezember 2024
Während andere darüber nachdenken, was man tun kann, damit HIVE wächst, machen wir einfach und treffen uns wieder persönlich – um uns unter anderem genau über dieses Thema auszutauschen.
Die Wiener HIVE Meetups haben eine Tradition, die weit vor die Entstehung von HIVE und vor meine Zeit zurückreicht. Damals noch als Stammtisch gestartet, führen wir – der harte Kern – diese Geschichte mit Freude fort.
Wir treffen uns am 01.09. im „Freiherz“ mitten in Wien (bei Schönwetter sogar im Gastgarten), um bei Speis und Trank wieder über HIVE- und Krypto-Themen zu quatschen. Je nach Runde driften wir ab und zu auch mal ins allgemeine Weltgeschehen ab und plaudern bis spät in den Abend.

Vieles betrachten wir oft als selbstverständlich, was es aber gar nicht ist. Es steckt eben doch etwas Arbeit dahinter, so ein Meetup zu organisieren und dem Gastronomen Rückmeldung zu geben, wie viele Leute kommen, damit vor Ort alles entspannt läuft.
Das Freiherz ist ein klassisches Wiener Bierlokal am Uni-Campus (altes AKH) mitten im 9. Wiener Gemeindebezirk. Das Speisen- und Getränkeangebot kann sich echt sehen lassen – schau am besten direkt auf der Website vorbei: https://www.freiherz.at. Deftig, wienerisch, guat!

Die Wiener HIVE Stammtische sind natürlich komplett freiwillig und kein Muss. Sie dienen allerdings schon seit jeher dem gegenseitigen Austausch sowie der Community-Pflege und sind international bereits weit über die Grenzen Österreichs hinaus bekannt.
Der harte HIVE-Kern in Wien setzt diese Tradition fort und sorgt weiterhin für das regelmäßigste und dienstälteste Meetup seit es HIVE gibt.

While others are sitting around thinking about what can be done to help HIVE grow, we just take action and meet up in person again – to chat about exactly that, among other things.
The Vienna HIVE Meetups have a tradition that goes back long before HIVE existed and way before my time. Started back then as a regular table (Stammtisch), the core group of us is keeping this history alive and running.
We’re meeting on September 1st at "Freiherz" in the heart of Vienna (outdoors if the weather is nice!) to catch up on HIVE and crypto topics over good food and drinks. Depending on the crowd, we also tend to drift off into discussing world events and just chatting until late in the evening.

We often take things for granted, but organizing a meetup actually takes some effort – especially letting the venue owner know how many people to expect so everything runs smoothly and stress-free.

About the Wiener HIVE Stammtisch Meetups:
Attending the Vienna HIVE Stammtisch is, of course, completely voluntary. However, since long before HIVE and my time, these meetups have served as a great space for networking, sharing ideas, and building community – and they're already well known far beyond Austria's borders.
The core HIVE community in Vienna is keeping this tradition alive, continuing to host the longest-running and most regular meetup in the HIVE ecosystem.
