I was in Vienna at a singing workshop over the weekend. It was very interesting. There were passive and active participants. The passive participants took part in the meditation and breathing exercises, and they were the audience. The active participants sang a song and worked with the workshop leader to perfect the song. There were hobby singers and there were those who had been studying with a singing teacher for a long time. I was there as a passive participant because I had never sung in front of an audience. I just watched and learned from the others. I had time for a little walk in the downtown too. It was a very good weekend.
