I can do what I want. If nobody joins the tournament then I see that it is not working and I will change things. In times of war some things are different, also the rules can change. See the comment from @samostically. I give a shit about what lichess thinks and does as they have joined the craze and never have implemented the ban. I can not remember any ban for anybody for the last wars from the other side. Ethically problematic are a lot of things in Jemen, Somalia, Syria and 20 other countries where the "good" bombs are used. Not at our chess boards!
