Unifi Cloud key is can be considered a mini computer wherein the latest unifi controller is installed acting as its operating system. Its processor is quad-core and has 2 GB RAM. Through this device, all of your unifi devices (access points, switches, routers etc.) are being monitored and managed. If you are outside of your local network, lets say you are outside of the country, you can still access your local network using the hybrid cloud technology of ubiquiti. You will only access your ubiquiti account in the internet and thats it you can now monitor and managed it remotely.

Also, you dont need licensing inorder to use this product. You will only buy it and thats it, unifi controller is installed there. You will only update the firmware. No maintenance fee required. This product also can be powered up using POE (Power over Ethernet) , just attached it on your unifi switch enabling the poe+ .
