How could I have overlooked this one? Just listen to this. I'm not sure if Powerledger will become the big winner, but ideas like this - and especially this idea in particular, will be HUGE. That's why this is a token i will invest quite a bit in. Really cool. I haven't really bought a lot of something since Bitcoin Cash. Just been buying really small caps with small sums. This is a medium cap at $330 million, but it could easily 10x short/medium term. And not only is it about making money - these kinds of projects could change the world for the better. I can't guarantee that Powerledger will be the one, but they sure seems to be on their way.

Basically this project wants to give power back to the people when it comes to power and electricity. They think the power balance between consumers and centralized power authorities is skewed. The booming market in distributed energy resources like solar photovaltaic systems, batteries, microgrids and embedded networks has moved the power balance from central authorities to citizens. And will continue to do so in the years to come.
Power ledger does that, and here are some of the things it can do.
Microgrid network operator
This type of Platform Application enables electricity metering, big data acquisition, rapid micro transactions and grid management at an unprecedented granular scale. Trading in embedded networks breaks the nexus between generation ownership and energy consumption meaning value can be derived from an investment in DER even if the investor is absent or doesn’t consume all the energy they generate.
Autonomous asset management
This current Platform Application allows for (1) shared ownership of renewable energy assets and (2) trading renewable asset ownership. The AA is able to buy and sell its own electricity and distribute its income to assigned wallet addresses.
And much more
Great name, good team, good ideas. What can you say? This is probably not a 10x'er or 20x'er short term, but something to hold for a longer amount of time.
