The word joy appears again and again in the Scriptures. For example, the psalms are full of references to joy. The psalmist writes: "The weeping may last all night, but in the morning the cry of joy (or joy) will come" (Psalm 30: 5b), and "Shout with joy (or joy) to God, inhabitants of all the earth "(Psalm 66: 1). In the same way, in the New Testament we read that joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit (Gal 5:22), which means that it is a Christian virtue. Seeing this biblical emphasis, we must understand what joy is, and pursue it.
