Greetings to the whole community.

We share a message referred to "Learning to have contentment".

There are men and women who feel deeply unhappy in their field of work. "If only I had a better boss ... If I could earn more salary ... If I could work in that company ..." That is the way of thinking of many.

Two thousand years ago, John the Baptist exhorted the dissatisfied Roman soldiers to be content with their salary (Luke 3, 14). That is still good advice for us.

We can live more and more happy when we see God as our only provider: "Do not give me poverty or riches, do not take away the necessary bread, lest I be satiated, and deny, and say: Who is Jehovah? and blaspheme the name of my God "(Pr 30: 8-9).

We can also become increasingly unhappy if we focus on the deficiencies of life. Paul reminds us that "we have not brought anything to this world and, without a doubt, we can not get anything out, so that by having sustenance and refuge, we can be content with this" (1 Tim 6: 7-8).

Much of our disconnection is due in large part to the fact that we want the multiple advantages of the opulent offers of the prevailing culture. But do we really need them? Could it be that we can manage without exclusive fashion clothes? The answer is affirmative. While God satisfies many of our needs because of his goodness and grace, he really wants us to enjoy what he has already given us and to have grateful hearts. He promises to attend to our needs, and when he gives us beyond the basics, we have to be very humble and grateful.

You can ask, my friend, how do we get content? Ask the Lord to teach us to feel gratitude for what we have, instead of complaining about what others have: "Be your habits without greed, content with what you have now" (Heb 13: 5). Solomon said: "Better sight than I wish it to happen" (Ec 6: 9).

God has already blessed us in abundance. Instead, Satan wants to divert our attention to other things with his cunning by twisting our hearts, so that we can make way for a malignant virus of discontent. Instead of letting yourself be entangled in their lies, why not make an inventory of all the blessings the Lord has given you and give thanks for each of them?

Of course, we find our greatest source of satisfaction in a relationship of delight in the Lord Jesus Christ: "I do not say it because I have shortage, because I have learned to be happy, whatever my situation ... I can do everything" in Christ that I strengthen "(Philippians 4: 11-13) Paul faced many trials and difficulties, some were quite difficult to bear, but he lived satisfied and happy because he had an intimate relationship with the Savior and nothing had more value than this. Is this true in your life?

"Delight yourself in Jehovah, and He will grant you the requests of your heart" (Ps 37, 4).
