All along, all she wanted was to own a strip club with her two favorite girlfriend business partners; they knew how much they made and they knew how much the male owners made. Since high school, she'd breeze into work like she owned the place, a born leader and problem solver. She felt at home working the check-in cage collecting house fees and listening to excuses. Trying to force herself into being a fan of the day-shift dancers felt empty, but she understood why they needed to be open; complaining about a problem only she could fix made her one of 'them' and that felt even more empty.

Of course her parents wished for law school but they didn't know how to make their point. She failed-out and dropped-out of undergrad too many times to keep laughing it off, missing another application deadline this week was irresponsible. At some point, finishing will just happen, then she'll find a normal job.

In the eighteen months since the club closed, she's tried every career imaginable to stay out of the hotels. While taking classes for a real-estate license, she started dating the insurance instructor and passed those exams too. Any invitation to a multi-level marketing dinner or house party that came her way was promptly accepted. Teaching Yoga and Pilates was another option but her patience was limited. If only she could make money on her phone??...

How this deal got in bankruptcy court today is up for discussion. Some might say it was destined from the beginning, a setup the whole time. Others could say the buyers are amateur clowns and the note-holders are spoiled rotten; but she sees an opportunity of a lifetime. The intricacies of the law amazed and confused but now she's so stoned hailing an Uber is going slow. What time is court again??

Being on time was never her thing; everyone said she should just wear the t-shirt that says so. Being on time today was especially tough since she could care less. If she did care, whom would she tell? These aren't real concerns or real problems, the attorneys keep moving the goal-posts while scalping fees, making each other feel relevant and mocking the process. Especially since he was elected, why do white men think they can act like bullies, lie, cheat and get away with it?

She could care less today because from experience she knows it won't matter. The fee hungry suits will delay and delay until the blame is displaced. Unique is the dynamic where those with no actual experience claim to know better, predict the future and purport to be qualified enough to dictate what's reasonable. It'd be like our main character telling a man he should be sitting down to pee.

This spring has been booming with legal weed, winning teams, more teams coming and more people moving here after natural disasters elsewhere. While the stock markets tumble, the crypto markets have entered the much-anticipated 'alt season' and some of the Whales could help solve this problem. Summers are normally slow when the convention traffic dies down and we've got a long list of repairs, nearly a million in improvements.

If only that football player had been offered clear advice, used better judgment or stepped back to eat a few more gummies; God knows where we'd be today. Your guess is as good as your narrators' and this story won't be easy to tell or ignore. It starts off like most epic failures, with a great idea!
