My Post To Hive Open Mic Week 118 "Mariposa Traicionera" Cover By @sayury
In this week 118 of the Hive Open Mic international event, the theme revolves around "Love Hurts" (Love hurts), knowing it immediately led me to remember this song, one of my favorites by the Mexican group Maná, since it is written from jealousy, from spite, from the pain produced by the fact that the person subject to your love is (like this butterfly) treacherous, unfaithful and capricious. The author feels trapped in the relationship ("I'm a mouse in your mousetrap, a trap that doesn't kill but doesn't free, I'm still living a prisoner...") and says goodbye with this song ("I'm not coming back to you anymore"). A case not as infrequent as it should be, one of those cases in which "love hurts".
vuelas y te posas, vas de boca en boca
fácil y ligera de quien te provoca.
Yo soy ratón de tu ratonera
trampa que no mata pero no libera
sigo viviendo prisionero.
MARIPOSA TRAICIONERA
TODO SE LO LLEVA EL VIENTO
MARIPOSA, AY, NO REGRESO
AY, MARIPOSA DE AMOR
MI MARIPOSA DE AMOR
YA NO REGRESO CONTIGO
AY, MARIPOSA DE AMOR
MI MARIPOSA DE AMOR
JUNTO JAMÁS JUNTO A TÍ
VUELA, AMOR,
VUELA, DOLOR
NUNCA REGRESES A MI LADO
SIGUE VOLANDO DE FLOR EN FLOR
SEDUCIENDO LOS PISTILOS
SI QUIERES VUELA CERCA DEL SOL
PA' QUE VEAS LO QUE ES DOLOR
Ay, mujer, tú me haces daño
pasan los minutos cual si fueran años
mira, los celos me están matando.
Ay, mujer, qué fácil eres:
avbres tus alitas (muslos de colores)
donde se posan tus amores
MARIPOSA TRAICIONERA
TODO SE LO LLEVA EL VIENTO
MARIPOSA, AY, NO REGRESO
AY, MARIPOSA DE AMOR
MI MARIPOSA DE AMOR
YA NO REGRESO CONTIGO
AY, MARIPOSA DE AMOR
MI MARIPOSA DE AMOR
JUNTO JAMÁS JUNTO A TÍ
VUELA, AMOR,
VUELA, DOLOR
NUNCA REGRESES A MI LADO
SIGUE VOLANDO DE FLOR EN FLOR
SEDUCIENDO LOS PISTILOS
SI QUIERES VUELA CERCA DEL SOL
PA' QUE VEAS LO QUE ES DOLOR
You are like a butterfly
you fly and perch, you go from mouth to mouth
easy and light of who provokes you.
I am a mouse in your mousetrap
trap that does not kill but does not release
I'm still living prisoner.
TREASONABLE BUTTERFLY
EVERYTHING IS CARRIED AWAY BY THE WIND
BUTTERFLY, OH, I'M NOT COMING BACK
OH, BUTTERFLY OF LOVE
MY LOVE BUTTERFLY
I DO NOT COME BACK WITH YOU
OH, BUTTERFLY OF LOVE
MY LOVE BUTTERFLY
TOGETHER NEVER WITH YOU
FLY, LOVE,
FLY, PAIN
NEVER COME BACK TO MY SIDE
KEEP FLYING FROM FLOWER TO FLOWER
SEDUCING THE PISTILS
IF YOU WANT TO FLY CLOSE TO THE SUN
SO THAT YOU SEE WHAT IS PAIN
Oh, woman, you hurt me
minutes pass as if they were years
Look, jealousy is killing me.
Oh, woman, how easy you are:
open your wings (colored thighs)
where your loves perch
TREASONABLE BUTTERFLY
EVERYTHING IS CARRIED AWAY BY THE WIND
BUTTERFLY, OH, I'M NOT COMING BACK
OH, BUTTERFLY OF LOVE
MY LOVE BUTTERFLY
I DO NOT COME BACK WITH YOU
OH, BUTTERFLY OF LOVE
MY LOVE BUTTERFLY
TOGETHER NEVER WITH YOU
FLY, LOVE,
FLY, PAIN
NEVER COME BACK TO MY SIDE
KEEP FLYING FROM FLOWER TO FLOWER
SEDUCING THE PISTILS
IF YOU WANT TO FLY CLOSE TO THE SUN
SO THAT YOU SEE WHAT IS PAIN
