The Surfer's Haiku

Surfers stay ready.

The wave that is missed hurts most.

They only break once.

I put this here so that we can stay motivated.  A picture speaks for itself, but for this one I wanted to encompass how I felt when I took this as well as when I look at this picture.  Who knows if this surfer has missed any waves, or if they are just preparing for the next set, but either way, they are not riding the wave that is out there.  As we move into the future just know that there are waves out there that we get only one chance to surf, and if we aren't ready, that wave will pass us by.
