The 21 Million Project
The "skinny" associated with cryptocurrencies is that they decentralize the monetary systems we all have known. As the cryptocurrency beast continues to grow, evolve, and stabilize, we already see innovation being driven in individual industries. For example, 21 Million Project (21MCoin) has just promoted its (ICO) Initial Coin Offering. 21 Milllion Project's sole mission is to make sure the right people in the "Hollywood" industry are getting fairly treated. Basically, cutting out the middle-men that blur the lines of responsible accounting, and putting value on the creative aspects as well as the intellectual-property behind those creative minds. This crypto-currency looks to target a specific industry and there are already other sites popping up that plan to use cryptocurrency do drive a more streamlined way to operate their retrospective industry.
What does it mean?
On the surface this could seem like just another cryptocurrency but digging deeper, we can find that there may be more that is going on here. In my opinion these types of industry targeted cryptocurrencies can really be key in helping solidify this new era. I won't go as far as to say we are headed to the end-all game of perfect harmony, but these types of move shed light into some dark places we may not even know about. For example, these "Tinsel-town" economics have a history of pay inequality. Big Whigs making billions while actors have to "sue" for their checks. Men getting paid more than women and cast members not getting the credit they deserve. Long story short, decentralization here in these types of inequalities can really promote a more efficient compensation mechanism.
How is this fitness?
I know my field is in fitness and nutrition but, if food is nutrition for the body, then information is food for the mind! Plus, Financial Fitness is super important. Moving forward, we all could use a healthy bank account, and by taking more control of your worth, you can secure a better piece of the pie. Maybe I'll have to start FitCoin and it can be used to pay for gym memberships, and you could earn FitCoins for hitting targets, and they'll use amino-block-chains (okay I'll stop before I go too far).
