The very moment I came across this week's theme, I knew what song to present immediately. My country Nigeria, is a type of country where a lot of corruption takes place On a steady. As a matter of fact, they see corruption as one of their daily activities. My country Nigeria can be and would be have been a very good place to stay and live in considering the fact that we have a lot of mineral resources enough to cater for the country was long as it exists but because of our greediness lack of contentment and selfishness we by-cut the right and legal ways to acquire wealth or any other form of achievements.
It is so disheartening that people know the truth see the truth but they refuse to act the truth no say the truth, all because of their selfish interest. I can categorically say that this behavior has caused rebellious acts and I believe this will continue if we don't put a straight end to this. Rebels are rising by the day all because they feel corruption is the only way to get whatever you want and it shouldn't be so.
This act of ours is becoming life threatening but I still believe and hope that things change for good and that should begin with possessing a good and positive mindset as a Nigerian. God is helping us all.....

En el mismo momento en que me encontr茅 con el tema de esta semana, supe inmediatamente qu茅 canci贸n presentar. Mi pa铆s, Nigeria, es un tipo de pa铆s donde se produce mucha corrupci贸n de forma constante. De hecho, ven la corrupci贸n como una de sus actividades diarias. Mi pa铆s, Nigeria, puede ser y habr铆a sido un muy buen lugar para quedarse y vivir considerando el hecho de que tenemos muchos recursos minerales suficientes para abastecer al pa铆s mientras exista, pero debido a nuestra avaricia, falta de satisfacci贸n y Por ego铆smo, evitamos las formas correctas y legales de adquirir riqueza o cualquier otra forma de logro.
Es tan desalentador que la gente sepa la verdad, vea la verdad pero se niegue a actuar con la verdad y no a decir la verdad, todo por su inter茅s ego铆sta. Puedo decir categ贸ricamente que este comportamiento ha provocado actos de rebeli贸n y creo que esto continuar谩 si no le ponemos fin directamente. Los rebeldes se levantan d铆a a d铆a porque sienten que la corrupci贸n es la 煤nica manera de conseguir lo que uno quiere y no deber铆a ser as铆.
Este acto nuestro est谩 poniendo en peligro nuestras vidas, pero todav铆a creo y espero que las cosas cambien para bien y que eso deber铆a comenzar por poseer una mentalidad buena y positiva como nigeriano. Dios nos esta ayudando a todos.....
