It is said that the bladderwort flower is carnivorous in nature and grows near wet soil. True to this, the plant is slowly spreading near the lotus pond. There are many flowers and it looks beautiful. It is also reported that it consumes tiny insects and mosquito larvae. So, it is useful as well and hopefully, there will lesser mosquitoes to disturb us.
The following pictures were taken with an android and so please bear with the quality. I have yet to find out the charging cable of our sony cyber shot which has been misplaced somehow.
Have you come across carnivorous flowers? I have only heard of flowers like the Venus flytrap but never seen one.
