I just got a notification on the #Ecency frontend that a Hive user just unfollowed and ignored me in rapid succession (just a block apart on the Hive blockchain). 😧
The link on #HiveBlocks to the unfollow transaction is here while the ignore transaction is here.
I can think of three possible reasons why it happened.
- There was a glitch on the Hive blockchain that caused the ignore and follow. This is what I hope is the only reason, since I remember
@xplosive's post that
@dswigle apparently ignored him but which was dismissed as a glitch occurring on Hive.
- There was something I posted or commented which disappointed him. My last comment on his content is here which had nothing personal against him, and he even greeted me during the Christmas season, so I really don't think that I said anything that might have offended him.
- He was just bored. However, I don't think this is the case, because right now, he follows 571 accounts and I am only 1 of 9 users he muted.
I hope there is clarity as to what the reason of the unfollow-ignore event was, and what I could do (if there is any) to help reverse it. 🤔
