Commodities are good in times of inflation and are cyclical, much longer road to run than tech stocks, which technology can change in months. Too short of a time for me to study and get into a stock. You capture beta buying ETFs but I’m trying to capture alpha
Cerro de Pasco is on the OTC and if you want a chance at a 10-bagger or more, the company must be beginning and not well-established. Plus backing from Eric Sprott of Sprott Inc. helps.

The team is experienced but it is a novel project and there is one chemical engineer for that huge tailings waste. This is not for the faint of heart.
Robert Friedland since released an announcement of the restart of the mine and is dewatering it. It is a high-grade huge copper deposit that also has a low-carbon footprint.
