After midnight the words scream from the abyss. Light ceases, something is creeping up my spine as the sound amplifies.
Before,
Before was the word
the word is sound
and sound is vibration
Reverberating memories and images float into awareness.
Someone talking from a room beyond, the felt sensation of sheets that never existed. The smell of ancient tea blossoms, the crack of the door...
Yellow neon edges of a house that doesn't exist, in this lifetime or the next. But it still holds memories of home. Home? Is this a place I belong, before? Is my waking life a lie?
Grasp, Gasp
How long does this last?
The darkness engulfs sight
The fright of taking of life
Which neon string do I pull on to get back?
Get back to what? Get back to where?
The everywhen is leaking in,
Is this where I belong? Have I always been here?
Pulse, shake the vibration of a heartbeat.
Is this mines? Who or what is that?
Echoes of something eternal, of some world.

Bed. Sweat, blood flow weak, tickling in the feet. Heavy breathing, confusion. I am awake? I am still asleep? Is this real? What the fuck happened?
The recall signal is getting weak. Faint memories of an alternative life, that I can no longer access.
Get on with it.
Every day is the same
Shower, Shave, Eat.
When does this lockdown end?
Things are screaming to me from the abyss...
