When I joined Steemit I was expecting to grimly compete rather than gainfully contribute for Steem Dollars. For days after joining I tried to find out how the whales had hacked the system and where the nepotism nexus was.
I was disappointed. And I have never been so happy to be disappointed. This place was way more fun than it had any right to be. Then when I wrote with abandon and commented; what I found was ACCEPTANCE- true and open for others to view ( the votes and comments and links which Steemians showered me with)
It is really tough to climb the ladder to having say 1000SP. But the people around you in Steemit are great. I think I just hit the nail on the head. STEEMIANS ARE AN EXTRAORDINARY PEOPLE.
You think I am laying on the cream thick and fast. Try this- Name a platform where people support the newbies and have fun doing it. Or a place where such global diversity melds into a movement which makes profits on the go. OK the Bots and the Whales?? This is very much like the eco-system all beast have a part to play, and it is upon the individual to find the rope and climb- What do you want? Steem for nothing!!

Did Steemit change my life?
Yes! I am more here than all my regular work time put together. And I'm not going anywhere. This place has so much promise, besides yesterday I had $5 worth of upvotes on a single post. YAY!!!
Earning is always a motivator- Just don't let it be an obstacle for joy!
