তুমি কিচ্ছু ভেবো না আম্মিজান
আমি আল্লাহর কাছে সব বলে দেব
আল্লাহ আমাদের রক্ষা করবেন;
আমি আল্লাহর কাছে বলে আমাদের ভাঙ্গা ঘরটা
নতুন করে বানিয়ে নেব।
আমাদের যে মক্তব ঘরটা বোমায় উড়ে গেছে,
সেখানে নতুন আরেক খানি বানাতে বলে দেব।
তুমি কাঁদছ কেন আম্মিজান-
বোমায় আমার হাত উড়ে গেছে;
তিনি তো মহান,
তিনি নিশ্চয়ই নতুন আরেকটি গড়ে দিবে।
আচ্ছা আম্মিজান, আমাদের যে এভাবে মারছে
কেন বলতে পারো?
আমরা তো কাউকে মারতে যাই নি!
ওদেরকে কেউ কিছু বলে না কেন?
ওরা কী ওই পাহাড়ের চেয়ে বড়!
সাইমুমের চেয়ে ভয়ংকর!
আম্মিজান গাজায় আমাদের বাড়ি-
তেল আবীব ও আমাদের ছিল;
ওরা সেটা নিয়ে গেল কেন?
বায়তুল মোকাদ্দাসে ওরা আমাদের ঢুকতে দেয় না কেন?
আমাদের পাশে এসে কেউ দাঁড়ায় না কেন?
আমাদের জন্য কী কারো মন কাঁদে না!
আম্মিজান আমরা তো মুসলমান ;
পৃথিবীতে কী শুধুই আমরাই অমানুষ
