Good afternoon my friends In The Real Talk. I am delighted to participate in this week's #contest. To start with. I am grateful for my life and the life of my family. Their presence keeps me pushing no matter what storm that comes my way. The end of the year is a time when the weight of everything one has been through sits. It is also a season that reminds someone how far they have come. This year has tested me in more ways than l ever expected. Welcome to my blog.
This year has not been easy for me. Inflation rose, business slowed down, and the pressure to survive pushed me into trying different different opportunities just to make ends meet. But instead of finding stability, I found disability Lol, I found myself swindled and drained. But we move. I kept pushing even when the road was too rough to walk on.
There was a time I thought of leaving my country in search of greener pastures, at that point, I was frustrated and I'm not thinking straight, I was thinking of a better life elsewhere. But the thought of my children set in, I looked at them one by one, I can't do this, they are the pieces of my heart that I can never leave behind no matter what. Then I also realised that I can never trade their presence for anything in the world. So I changed my mind and decided to stay, to fight here, to keep pushing with whatever resources I had left. It was not an easy decision, in fact it was the hardest decision I have ever made, but I have to stay for my children.
Then I was introduced to Hiveblockchain. And that, changed my life for good. I was not earning much, but when I said it changed my life, I mean it kept me distracted from the physical and emotional stress that I was passing through at that time. Engaging in it meaningfully made me to feel alive again, my brain was busy, I learned, I grew, I tried new things and I found joy again not because I'm earning much like I said earlier, but because I was able to discover part of myself I never knew was there.
Now as the year is slowly coming to an end, I look back with gratitude for the struggles that shaped me. This year has given me reasons to cry and reasons to smile, but most importantly, it has given me reasons to keep believing in myself.
Though the year is ending, I strongly believe that it is not going to be the end of my story. Next year is another chance to rise to rebuild, to dream Bigger, and to achieve greater things. I will step into next year with hope, faith, and the same faith that brought me this far.
These are my struggles and joy that comes with the end of the year. @iquo,
