With steem there is no get rich quick tip. this is a grind that will take time.
if you are not investing money into it then you only have time to invest.
you have to create quality content that is interesting for other steemians
build a network with like minded people who follow you and you follow them
comment on topics of your interest to get attention of people in that domain. post regularly to build a loyal following.
it will be slow grind so you need to be prepared. from my personal experience you should keep in mind that 1 comment / post = 1 follower. by the time you reach about 5000 followers your posts should start to earn better
by the time you will have some steem power that can show your vote power you will notice that people will engage with you and you will have more eye balls.
key is to be consistent and focus on quality not just a one liner comment or a me too posts.
