A few days ago was the celebration of the Day of the Dead and in some countries there are rituals to honor the memory of their deceased relatives or friends. The catrinas are a female figure that represents a soul between the living and the dead and in Mexico it has great importance in these dates, it even has songs like "La llorona".

For this reason, the girls at the gym decided to create the catrina theme and many of them made very creative and beautiful headbands. Although I didn't wear the same one, they lent me one to take pictures, and even stones to decorate my face. That day I was a sweaty catrina full of life. 😅

Bailando con caras de catrinas

Hace unos días fue la celebración del Día de los Muertos y en algunos países se hacen rituales para honrar la memoria de sus parientes o amigos fallecidos. Las catrinas son una figura de mujer que representa un alma entre los vivos y muertos y en México tiene gran importancia en estas fechas, tiene hasta canciones como la llorona.

Por este motivo, las chicas del gimnasio decidieron crear la temática de catrinas y muchas de ellas hicieron cintillos muy creativos y hermosos. Aunque yo no llevé igual, me prestaron uno para que me sacase fotos, y hasta piedras para decorar mi rostro. Ese día fui una catrina sudada y llena de vida. 😅
