Could not sleep after seeing the bigger evil finishing everything
Life sometimes gives unexpected twists that makes us heartbroken. Barely we do have any choice other than just learn from it. A week back, I thought, I could repair the loss to my plants by spraying poison as posted in my last post - little did I know that there were bigger evils coming. Look at the bigger evil - they just finished everything in 3-4 days.
I had come from my native place for just one day to plant small trees that I was growing and worked all most for half a day to finish planting them. They are the seasonal breeds so I was preparing them for December. I literally get lost when I work with these trees.
My wife came with some drinks finally to remind me that, I need to go for Lunch. Sometimes, she says, I love these trees more than her😀. And my answer is they are not comparable - each have their own place. You can see how much I am involved with these trees - it gives me immense pleasure to spend time with these trees and see them growing. But I barely can control the weather - it's again raining since last 3-4 days. My son used to go to the top, to quickly grab some flowers but he did not see them so close. When I came here yesterday, I thought, I would go and have a look at them. And I was truly heartbroken - there was nothing left to repair. All they left were skeletons - not sure from where these big worms came.
They even did not spare the spinach. So all I could do today is give farewell to those skeletons - me and my son went and took out those skeletons and threw. And then we checked the other plants and found some of them and took out and crushed.
Thankfully the new breeds have survived - also I had planted two stems as back up in case I would need them - replanted them so that I can create more from the growing stems. Interestingly they have not been able to damage the Chrysanthemum plants - so I think, they were more after soft leaves. I still need to learn, why or how these big insects grow and how to prevent them. If you have any idea, please help me understand to prevent them in future.
