A Valentine day special
Love is for life or Life is for love ? Definitely they complement each other and the more love we spread by becoming more social, the more joyful life becomes. Our social functions are meant for this purpose, and people love to arrange grand functions to spread happiness and this was one such function, where we went without a formal invitation.
It was her friend's brother's thread ceremony, and even though they could not come to give a formal invitation, they wanted us to be there, calling us every now and then. I always admire and respect the commitment of friendship, since she was very eager, we agreed to join the grand party.
The cute Rudraditya is only nine years old and was happily coordinating with all the rituals, which happens for the entire day.
Our princess and her friends enjoyed each other's company very much.
As you can see, there were only three of them - I was a bit surprised to see so less number of friends, but this is the harsh reality. Our kid's generation do not have a big friend circle like us - and probably Covid-19 pandemic shaped a lot in this behavioral change. Before the pandemic, people were free to meet any friend any time, and our kids used to play with so many friends, enjoying the best time of their life. And suddenly everything changed with the Covid-19 pandemic, I truly miss that Pre-Pandemic World that was without any fear. Personally even I was not fearing anything, prior to the pandemic, but everything has changed since then. Its difficult to control anxiety level fully, that fear has taken a permanent seat in our life - not sure, if these are the effect of those vaccine we took, but we absolutely can't do anything about it. This post is in response to the Memoir Monday #49 prompt, many people wrote about many things they miss from the Pre-Pandemic World, but I feel, fear is the worst of all - it literally shaped everything since the Pandemic World. Childhood is the best time to enjoy with friends, unfortunately our kids were restricted living a free life and had to adopt to the digital life - the very digital stuffs that were earlier restricted, arrived in their hands because of Covid, killing a lot of good skills in them. The love for own life took the highest precedence and the behavioral change is going to reflect for a very long time in the next generation.

Out of nowhere, my cousin brother-in-law discovered us - he was invited there and it felt so good to meet them after a long time.

We ate some starters and then waited for the auspicious occasion - to bless the Brahmachari. It's considered a privilege to contribute to a Brahmachari in our religion. Family members are given the opportunity first - most give gold ornaments.
Goodbye is not easy for us but he had to leave early, after that, we headed for the lunch.
And my biggest weakness was plentifully available in different varieties - sweets.
It was so delicious that, even they consumed them repeatedly, don't ask about me.
The final see off with a promise to meet again soon. As we entered our apartment, the lady reminded me about my proposal to do a reel in the garden, to keep it in our memoir, more to come on that soon.....
