Life at IIMK Kochi Campus is notoriously fast-paced. Between back-to-back lectures, complex case studies, group presentations, and the endless hustle of deadlines, stress levels can peak quickly. But recently, the campus took a brilliant, light-hearted detour from its rigorous routine by celebrating an unforgettable "No Bag Day" event.
Inspired by the global campus spirit trend, the challenge was incredibly simple yet packed with fun: attend classes, but leave your conventional backpacks at home. The resulting creativity was gold, much of which has been captured and shared in a viral Instagram Reel :

Looking through the photos sent by my son and the other parents truly made my day. It is a beautiful reminder that sometimes, breaking a stressful routine doesn’t require an elaborate, high-budget festival - it just requires a bit of imagination and the willingness to laugh at yourself.
Walking across campus on No Bag Day transformed the corridors into a vibrant scene of chaotic innovation as students replaced standard backpacks with other household items as you can see in these photos. This display of resourcefulness brought endless laughter and turned a routine class day into a memorable campus event. Without their usual bags, students had to dig deep into their creative reservoirs to find alternative ways to transport their notebooks, laptops, pens, and water bottles.The alternatives were nothing short of genius. Seeing future corporate leaders corporate-walk into an executive classroom holding other household items completely broke the usual serious atmosphere. The sheer variety of makeshift bags brought endless laughter, proving that management students can manage just about anything when given a constraint!
