These were the last few mangoes on the small tree in our backyard. Mom was anxiously waiting for me to come pluck them; after her surgery, she simply can’t manage that kind of heavy lifting. Honestly, everything she manages to do at her age is already beyond what anyone expects, and I constantly have to remind her to slow down.
A lot is happening in life, so much so that I don't get time to write post, even use my voting power to the fullest, but then this was an emergency call - rats have found out these mangoes and have started eating them, so we must win the mango war.
This is the first time we are seeing rats taking over and finally I got chance to come home and pluck them.
They are big in size and look pretty attractive - almost couple of them weighting a kilo. We will keep them to ripen organically and this will be the end of this season.
