Spirulina is the youngest of the cats in our home. She didn’t arrive like the others, who were homeless, some of them sick, and came to our door hoping we’d give them some food. Spirulina ran away from her home and came to ours looking for a new family, better company, or better food.
We think this was the case because she was in very good health; she didn’t look like an abandoned cat.
The thing is, ever since she arrived, even though she’s the smallest, she’d snatch food from anyone, and they respected her. As if that weren’t enough, she taught the biggest one how to open the refrigerator, because she couldn’t open it herself (since then, we’ve had to put a lock on the fridge door). When we’re going to take pictures of them, she’s the first to volunteer because she knows there are treats involved. Her name comes from a jar of spirulina we had at home when we were thinking of what to call her.
We took these photos for Halloween, and we’re planning to submit them to stock photo agencies, so you’ll probably come across this model’s work somewhere.
