Charli is an older dog who has been with Karen his whole life. In recent days, he’s needed special care. We have to help him eat, assist him with getting up from time to time, and we recently had to remove some of his teeth that were causing him pain. Charli is over 15 years old and still has plenty of energy; he runs out into the yard, jumping around. It seems as if he forgets that he can no longer do those things, and the pain reminds him that he needs to move slowly.
