I woke up early this morning to check the surf and to my surprise the lineup was empty. Needless to say I walked back home, grabbed my surfboard, and paddled out. The waves were not that big and there was a bit of a wait between sets, but the water was warm and I got to surf solo for three hours.The only person at the beach was a friend of mine who is also a photographer, which is why I have the photo to post. All in all a really good Sunday morning. Now I think I am going to finish setting some tile on a counter top and be productive with some other work as well. I have got to tell you that it felt great to get some salt water on these old bones this morning. There is something about surfing that alleviates the stress in my world and allows me to decompress. I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday and getting some "me" time as well. Get out there and enjoy some life you all.
