Your spouse is special, he /she is the one with whom you can share all your worries and inhibitions. He/she is the one who will stand by you in thick And happy times. Kids will grow and move to find their own world, so you will be left alone with your spouse for a major part of your old age.

Imagine what happens when you don't care for your spouse like he/she deserves. Well, the relationship would not have live, but would rather grow into a very hateful one. That's what happened recently in India.
A lady in her late 40's tied up her husband and threw acid on him in rage. She claimed that her husband didn't care for her like she should have been. The man, also in his late 40's, tried to escape, but couldn't. He was saved timely by his daughter and niece with minor injuries. Imagine the hate that woman must have developed to take such a drastic step.
Police have charged the woman with some serious offence, but I guess the man is equally guilty. They need to undergo series of counselling and work on their relationship. I hope things between them gets better in few days.
