We Mangalorean have been praying to the rain god to show some mercy on us. Looks like our prayers have been answered. Temperature in this coastal belt have been soaring since couple of months. Since last few weeks it felt like we all have been melting through sweat.
Today, the rain God showed that he existed and showered the cool first drizzle on us. The scent of the mud and first rain was amazing. The sky looked beautiful.
Monsoons have begun.
