While the tern 'runaway' bride's is common, people must rarely have heard about runaway groom. Men appear to be masculine and that's why people mistake them as strong. It us believed that men would never have a cold feet nearing their wedding date, but how wrong everybody is ?

Men are also humans like women and they too have to undergo the rush of emotions in their heart. A man recently staged his own kidnapping to cancel his impending wedding. The 31 year old guy was to get married to his bride in an arranged marriage setup. It is believed that he was forced into the wedding as his parents didn't approve of his relationship with his girlfriend.
Though the man distributed his wedding invitation to his colleagues and friends, he could no longer play along and ran away from his home and kept changing I his hideouts until the cops traced his mobile movements and arrested him from his rented accomodations where he had come to collect his clothes.
According to his friends, he didn't appear happy while inviting them for the wedding. To make his plan look authentic he called his parents and demanded a ransom of 5lakh INR while enacting a genuine kidnapping sequence. I hope his parents have learnt there lesson and would not force their son/daughter into forced marriages.
