My hometown has been under severe water crisis. The monsoons have been delayed terribly nd the water stock is depleting beyond expectation. The city has been rationing water and the newspapers are shouting warning people to save water and use it cautiously. The water is supplied for four days a week and the supply remains closed for the next 3 days. People in hilly areas in the city have been affected immensely as the water reaches their tanks only once in a week.
Has it changed the condition?? Well, I can say it has upto some extent because I have been using water cautiously. I have been avoiding washing clothes in washing machines daily using water using for washing to water plants etc. But, I have also seen people who have been careless even after daily lectures from the municipality.

We have a neighbour who has been very careless with the water. They have been wasting water all day for the 4 days that it is supplied. Water has been flowing down their overhead tanks all day and they have never bothered to close the valve. I and other neighbours have had spats with them for their water wasting antics, but seems like it has absolutely no impact on them.
Some people just don't care, isn't it???
