In Bangalore, in southern India, a woman lost her life after she drank a bottle of bleaching liquid meant to clean the tiles, mistaking it for water. She grabbed the bottle that was kept along with water bottles and consumed it until she felt her throat burning. The pain and burning sensation became unbearable and she was rushed to the hospital where she was tried to revive, but doctors couldn't help much.
It is important that such hazardous things are properly marked and keep away from easy reach. It is also important that we smell the liquid that we are consuming before gulping it down our throats. This is not an one time incident. There are many cases of similar accidental deaths.
