School vacations have begun and as anticipated, kids are finding it tough to kill the time. My elder one has no idea about what he could do to entertain himself as his friends have left to their home town and those who are in town haven't finished their exam yet as they are from different school.
I wanted him to join some vacation classes that could drain his energy and suggested swimming. Though my elder one was not for the idea, he gave in reluctantly and we were at the pool. We also hired a coach to teach him proper swimming techniques so he could make full use of the time that we are spending there. Once at the pool, the elder one was happy and learning. The younger one was impatient and wanted to jump in the water just like his brother.
I took him to the baby pool and he just threw away his clothes and jumped into the water like a pro swimmer. Though he could not float, he didn't have the fear of drowning like my elder one. He was carefree, but I clinged on to him knowing that it was his first time in the pool.
May be younger the better it is to learn swimming. Here are few pics of the younger one who didn't care about the water.
